Weaviate launches Engram, a separately-billed managed-memory product for AI agents
Weaviate launched Engram, managed AI-agent memory billed per pipeline run, on a Free/Starter($45)/Team($360)/Enterprise ladder, separate from database pricing.
Engram: Free $0/mo (1,000 runs), Starter $45/mo + $0.0045/overage run (10,000 runs), Team $360/mo + $0.0035/overage run (90,000 runs), Enterprise custom. Weaviate Cloud database pricing (Free/Flex $45/Premium $400) is unchanged.
Weaviate added a second, separately-billed product line: Engram, managed memory infrastructure for AI agents, now generally available. Rather than the database’s per-vector-dimension metric, Engram bills per pipeline run — each POST /memories call counts as one run, regardless of conversation length or payload size.
The plan ladder mirrors the database’s Free-to-Enterprise shape but with its own limits: Free ($0/mo, 1,000 runs/month, 1 project, personalisation pipeline only, throttles at cap with no billing), Starter ($45/mo + $0.0045 per overage run, 10,000 runs/month, 3 projects, all preset pipelines), Team ($360/mo + $0.0035 per overage run, 90,000 runs/month, 100 projects, marked “best value”), and Enterprise (custom pricing, unlimited projects, a custom pipeline builder, dedicated TAM and SSO/SAML). Starter and Team are never rate-limited — overage runs are metered and billed in arrears at the start of the next billing cycle.
Weaviate Cloud’s core database pricing (Free / Flex $45/mo / Premium $400/mo, per-dimension rates unchanged) was not affected by this launch.
Weaviate GA'd Engram, a new managed-memory product for AI agents billed per pipeline run on its own Free ($0, 1,000 runs)/Starter ($45/mo + $0.0045 overage, 10,000 runs)/Team ($360/mo + $0.0035 overage, 90,000 runs)/Enterprise (custom) ladder — a new product line and billing unit, not a repricing. Weaviate Cloud database pricing (Free/Flex $45/Premium $400, per-dimension rates) was verified unchanged.
