Mintlify reintroduces a Pro tier and moves AI credits off the free plan
Mintlify added a $450-$540/mo Pro tier between Starter and Enterprise, moving AI agent features and its per-credit meter off the free Starter plan entirely.

Mintlify’s pricing page now shows a three-card layout — Starter, Pro, Enterprise — reversing the free-Starter-plus-Enterprise structure captured in mid-2026. The reintroduced Pro plan carries a live Monthly/Annual billing toggle ($540/mo vs $450/mo) and is now where the AI assistant, writing agent, and automations live; the comparison table shows no checkmark for those features on Starter, and Starter’s credit allotment (previously 5,000/month) no longer appears in the feature table at all. Pro’s included credit pool also grew, to 10,000/month, at the same $0.01/credit overage rate. The free Starter tier keeps the base documentation platform (custom domain, web editor, MCP server, API playground) but no longer includes any AI agent capability on an ongoing basis — the site’s hero banner now frames free AI access as “your first month of credits on us,” a one-time incentive rather than a permanent Starter entitlement.
