Ideogram’s in-app “Using your credits” matrix now prices Ideogram 4.0 (2K) at 1 / 2 / 3 priority credits per single image (Turbo / Balanced / Quality) — half the 2 / 4 / 6 credits shown in the 2026-07-22 capture, which had itself been a ~4x effective rate rise on the flagship model. The change reverses roughly half of that prior increase without touching a single dollar figure, since the consumer subscription ladder (Free US$0, Plus US$15/mo, Pro US$42/mo, Team US$20/user/mo billed annually, Enterprise contact-sales) is unchanged.
On the developer API, 4.0 Custom-model inference was cut by roughly the same proportion — from US$0.06/US$0.12/US$0.20 (Turbo/Default/Quality) down to US$0.03/US$0.06/US$0.10, now matching the base (non-custom) 4.0 generation rate. Ideogram 4.0 also gained a Generate w/ Transparent option (background-transparent generation) across 1K/2K/4K/8K resolutions at US$0.03-US$0.42/image, a capability previously exclusive to Ideogram 3.0.
