Hume AI adds cheaper EVI 4 MINI and Octave 2 models via a per-product pricing toggle
Hume AI exposed a model toggle on its pricing page: EVI 4 MINI runs at roughly half the EVI 3 per-minute overage and Octave 2 roughly halves Octave 1 per-character overage while doubling minutes per character. Tier prices are unchanged.
Pricing showed only EVI 3 (overage /bin/bash.07-/bin/bash.04/min) and Octave 1 (overage /bin/bash.15-/bin/bash.05 per 1K chars).
A model toggle now also offers EVI 4 MINI (/bin/bash.035-/bin/bash.02/min) and Octave 2 (/bin/bash.075-/bin/bash.025 per 1K chars, ~2x minutes per character) at every paid tier; headline tier prices (/bin/bash///0/00/00/Custom) and bundled quotas are unchanged.
Hume AI’s pricing page now carries an in-table model toggle for each voice product. For speech-to-speech, the newer EVI 4 MINI is priced at about half the EVI 3 per-minute overage across every paid tier: /bin/bash.035/min on Starter and Creator, /bin/bash.03 on Pro, /bin/bash.025 on Scale, and /bin/bash.02 on Business (versus EVI 3’s /bin/bash.07, /bin/bash.07, /bin/bash.06, /bin/bash.05, /bin/bash.04). For text-to-speech, Octave 2 roughly halves Octave 1’s per-character overage (/bin/bash.075, /bin/bash.06, /bin/bash.05, /bin/bash.025 per 1,000 characters on Creator/Pro/Scale/Business vs Octave 1’s /bin/bash.15, /bin/bash.12, /bin/bash.10, /bin/bash.05) and stretches the same bundled character quota to roughly twice the minutes of audio.
The seven-tier ladder (Free /bin/bash, Starter , Creator /4, Pro 0, Scale 00, Business 00, Enterprise custom), bundled monthly quotas, RPM caps, and connection limits are unchanged. The change is effectively a quiet price cut available to buyers who select the newer models.
Pricing page now exposes a per-product model toggle: EVI 4 MINI runs at roughly half the EVI 3 per-minute overage ($0.035→$0.02/min vs $0.07→$0.04), and Octave 2 roughly halves Octave 1's per-character overage ($0.075→$0.025 per 1K vs $0.15→$0.05) while ~2× the minutes per character — an effective ~50% overage cut for buyers who opt in. Headline tier prices ($0/$3/$7/$70/$200/$500/Custom) and bundled quotas are unchanged. The Expression Measurement API's per-modality rates were pulled from the live page in the same update.
