GitLab opens Duo Agent Platform credits to all plans, adds Secrets Manager
GitLab's AI credit add-on (GitLab Duo Agent Platform, $1/credit) is now available with any plan, including Free, not just Premium/Ultimate as before, and GitLab launched a new Secrets Manager add-on for Premium/Ultimate — core seat and credit list prices stayed flat.

GitLab’s pricing page now labels the GitLab Duo Agent Platform “Available with any plan,” and the Free tier explicitly calls out that “AI features can be accessed via the purchase of GitLab Credits add-on” — a change from the prior snapshot, which scoped Duo Agent Platform credits to Premium and Ultimate customers only. Alongside that widened credit-purchasing eligibility, GitLab introduced a new Secrets Manager add-on (centralized secrets storage, access control, and rotation) for Premium and Ultimate on GitLab.com, with Self-Managed and Dedicated listed as “coming soon.” No separate price was disclosed for Secrets Manager, and core list prices — Free $0, Premium/Ultimate gated behind “Let’s talk”/custom pricing, $1/credit, $10 per 1,000 compute minutes, $5/mo per 10 GiB storage — are unchanged since the prior capture.
