GitLab Flex unifies seats and AI credits in one commitment
GitLab announced Flex: one annual dollar commitment covering platform seats and GitLab Credits, reshaped month-to-month without contract amendments.
Separate per-seat plans plus GitLab Credits and usage add-ons
One annual Flex commitment spanning seats, GitLab Credits, and eligible usage
GitLab Flex lets an organization make one annual dollar commitment against the published rate card, then draw down platform seats, GitLab Credits, and eligible usage-based capabilities — moving budget between them month-to-month without contract amendments. Tiered volume discounts apply automatically against the total commitment. Flex shipped alongside GitLab Orbit as part of GitLab’s agentic-era platform refresh, the same update in which Premium’s $29 list price moved to “Let’s talk.”
The live page launches 'GitLab Orbit' (context layer for AI agents) and 'GitLab Flex Commitment' (one annual balance reallocated across seats and credits). Premium's $29 is no longer shown publicly — it now reads 'Let's talk / Get in touch'; Ultimate is 'Contact us for custom pricing'. Duo Agent Platform stays at $1/credit; Enterprise Agile Planning $15/user/mo; compute $10/1,000 min; storage $5/mo per 10 GiB.
