Autodesk Flow Studio adds Wonder 3D generative asset creation at 20 credits per generation
Autodesk (Flow Studio, formerly Wonder Dynamics) pricing
Flow Studio's Wonder 3D adds text-to-3D and image-to-3D asset generation billed at 20 credits each out of the existing monthly credit pool — no new SKU, no rate-card change.
Credits bought render/processing work only: seconds of footage, AI motion capture and exports across Free (300 credits), Lite $10/mo (2,100), Standard $45/mo (6,000) and Pro $95/mo (12,000).
The same credit pool now also buys Wonder 3D generative asset creation at 20 credits per generation — 15 3D models a month on the free tier's 300 credits — with every subscription price unchanged.
Autodesk shipped Wonder 3D into Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio, by Wonder Dynamics): an Asset Creator that generates fully textured 3D characters, creatures and props from a text prompt or a reference image, optimises existing geometry, and re-textures existing assets. Text-to-image generation runs on Black Forest Labs’ FLUX, and generated assets export as OBJ or STL into the existing Blender / Maya / Unreal / USD pipeline.
The pricing story is that there isn’t one. Rather than launching a generative-AI add-on SKU or a separate 3D-generation plan, Autodesk priced the whole capability inside the existing credit meter at a flat 20 credits per generation. The Free tier’s 300 monthly credits therefore stretch to 15 3D generations, and the paid ladder (Lite 2,100 · Standard 6,000 · Pro 12,000 credits) absorbs the new workload without a single price moving. A generic credit pool is what makes that possible — and it is the same mechanism that let Autodesk keep the August 2025 rate card intact through a year of capability expansion, including the Static Camera AI MoCap mode (May 2026) and Character LoRA training (June 2026).
The trade-off is invisible inflation of the meter: the credit budget a customer bought for rendering footage is now also the budget for generative 3D, so effective capacity per dollar falls for anyone who adopts the new features. Autodesk’s Flow Studio pricing page remains bot-gated (HTTP 403 from automated fetches), so the credit cost is documented in press coverage rather than on a public rate card.
Flow Studio gains Wonder 3D — text-to-3D and image-to-3D asset generation plus text-to-image via Black Forest Labs FLUX — billed out of the existing monthly credit pool at 20 credits per generation (15 generations a month on the free tier's 300 credits). No new SKU and no subscription price changed, so the cost lands as reduced render capacity rather than a bigger bill.
