Qodo drops per-seat pricing and free tier for a pooled credit model

Qodo pricing

Qodo repackaged its code-review platform onto a team-wide credit pool at $.012/credit with selectable packs, retiring per-seat Teams pricing and the permanent free Developer tier in favor of a 14-day trial.

Before

Free Developer tier + Teams at $30/user/mo (annual) with 2,500 credits and a 20 PRs/user/month cap; overage not purchasable (work blocked until a 30-day reset).

After

No free tier (14-day trial only); self-serve Pro Team billed on a team-wide credit pool at $.012/credit, sold as 2,500 / 5,000 / 20,000-credit packs (~18 / 36 / 144 reviews per month), up to 30 users, no annual commitment, with overage now available at the same per-credit rate against a buyer-set spending cap. Enterprise (30+ users) stays custom.

Qodo overhauled its pricing model in mid-2026, moving from a per-seat subscription with a hidden credit meter to pure consumption on a pooled credit balance. Credits are now priced at $.012 each and shared across the whole team, sold as selectable packs on a single self-serve Pro Team plan (2,500 / 5,000 / 20,000 credits, which Qodo estimates at roughly 18 / 36 / 144 reviews per month) supporting up to 30 users with no annual commitment.

Two structural changes stand out. First, the permanent free Developer tier is gone — Qodo now states it does not offer a free plan, replacing it with a 14-day free trial (unlimited reviews and credits, no credit card). Second, overage is now purchasable: once the base pool is depleted, reviews keep running at the same per-credit rate against a monthly spending cap the buyer sets, removing the previous “work blocks until the 30-day reset” wall. Enterprise (30+ users) remains a custom, sales-led plan with SSO/SAML, BYOK, and single-tenant SaaS or on-prem / air-gapped deployment. The pricing page is now positioned purely as a code-review platform rather than the earlier Gen / Merge / Command three-product split.

Repackaged to pooled credits — per-seat & free tier dropped

Qodo overhauls its pricing model. The per-seat Teams plan and the permanent free Developer tier are both gone. Pricing is now a single self-serve Pro Team plan billed on a team-wide credit pool at $.012/credit, sold as selectable packs (2,500 / 5,000 / 20,000 credits ≈ 18 / 36 / 144 reviews per month), with up to 30 users, no annual commitment, and overage now available at the same per-credit rate against a spending cap the buyer sets. Access starts with a free 14-day trial (unlimited reviews/credits, no credit card) instead of a free plan; Enterprise (30+ users) stays custom-quoted with SSO/SAML, BYOK, single-tenant SaaS or on-prem/air-gapped deployment. Independently re-verified 2026-06-30 against qodo.ai/pricing and docs.qodo.ai (billing 'usage-based, not seat-based').
