Modal quintuples Team plan container concurrency to 5,000

Modal pricing

Modal raised its Team plan's included container concurrency from 1,000 to 5,000 (a 5x increase) with no change to the $250/mo + compute plan fee, while also itemizing new Team-tier features: custom domains, static IP proxy, deployment rollbacks, and RBAC.

Before

Team plan included 1,000 container concurrency; plan-card marketing highlighted generic 'higher rate limits' and 'Slack support' without itemizing specific controls.

After

Team plan includes 5,000 container concurrency (GPU concurrency unchanged at 50); pricing page now itemizes custom domains, static IP proxy, deployment rollbacks, and RBAC as Team-tier features, and clarifies that private Slack support remains Enterprise-only (Team gets Community Slack access, same as Starter).

Modal’s Team plan ($250/month + compute, unchanged) now includes 5,000 container concurrency, up from 1,000 previously — a 5x increase with no corresponding price change. GPU concurrency, deployed-app limits, log retention, and included credits ($100/month) on Team were all unchanged.

The pricing page’s Compare Features matrix also itemizes several controls that were not previously broken out on the Team plan card: custom domains, static IP proxy, deployment rollbacks (3 versions), Environment-level budgets, and RBAC. The comparison table clarifies that private Slack support is Enterprise-only — Team and Starter both get Community Slack access rather than a dedicated support channel, a detail not itemized on the pricing page as of the prior capture. No GPU, CPU, memory, or storage per-second rates changed, and Starter and Enterprise plan fees ($0 / Custom) were unchanged.
