Dynamics 365 meters agentic AI in Copilot Credits on top of per-app seats
Microsoft Dynamics 365 pricing
Dynamics 365 keeps its per-user per-app seat ladder (0–00/mo) but now meters autonomous agents separately in Copilot Credits — 1 credit per classic answer, 2 generative, 5 per agent action, 10 for tenant-graph grounding.
Per-user per-app seat licensing with assistive Copilot folded into the seat price.
Same seat ladder plus a tenant-pooled Copilot Credit consumption meter for agents; Premium tiers bundle 1,000 credits/user/mo, overage enforced at 125% of prepaid capacity.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 confirms a two-speed hybrid pricing model in 2026. Base Copilot assistive features remain included in the per-user, per-app seat price (Sales Professional 5, Sales Enterprise 05, Customer Service Professional 0, Finance 10, Supply Chain 10, and up to 00/user/mo for Premium tiers, all paid yearly). Running prebuilt or custom autonomous agents built in Microsoft Copilot Studio, however, now consumes a separate metered currency — Copilot Credits — billed at the sub-action level: 1 credit per classic answer, 2 per generative answer, 5 per agent action, and 10 for tenant-graph grounding.
Copilot Credits are sold as prepaid Copilot Credit Commit Units (up to 20% cheaper with an up-front commitment) or via Azure pay-as-you-go metering, and pool across the tenant. Premium app tiers (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) each bundle 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month, converting the raw usage meter into a soft entitlement that only bites on overage — at which point agents are disabled at 125% of prepaid capacity unless pay-as-you-go coverage is enabled.
Sales Premium ($150), Finance Premium ($300) and Supply Chain Premium ($300) each include 1,000 Copilot Credits/user/mo; Copilot Credit billing rates published (classic answer 1, generative answer 2, agent action 5, tenant-graph grounding 10).
