CoreWeave adds spot-only Standard Memory CPU shapes, pulls 100G Virtual Direct Connect and reserved-storage discounts

CoreWeave pricing

CoreWeave added two spot-only Standard Memory CPU shapes, withdrew the $15,000/mo 100G Virtual Direct Connect tier, and dropped its reserved-storage discount.

Before

Direct Connect Virtual 100G at $15,000/mo; storage card footnoted 'Discounts are available for reserved storage capacity for AI Object Storage and Distributed File Storage'; no Standard Memory CPU shapes.

After

Direct Connect Virtual 100G listed 'Not Available' (10G Virtual remains $1,500/mo); reserved-storage discount footnote removed; new General Purpose (Standard Memory) shapes — AMD Turin 9655P (192 vCPU / 768 GB) spot $3.94/hr and Intel Emerald Rapids 8562Y+ (64 vCPU / 256 GB) spot $2.86/hr, both 'Contact Sales' on-demand.

CoreWeave’s portfolio-wide rate card changed shape between the June and July 2026 captures without moving a single published GPU price. All North America GPU on-demand and spot rates held steady — HGX H100 $49.24/$19.71, HGX H200 $50.44/$20.93, HGX B200 $68.80/$34.11, GB200 NVL72 $42.00, A100 $21.60/$9.65 — as did every storage and networking rate.

What moved was packaging. Two new General Purpose (Standard Memory) CPU shapes appeared in both the North America and Europe tables: an AMD Turin (9655P) at 192 vCPU / 768 GB and an Intel Emerald Rapids (8562Y+) at 64 vCPU / 256 GB. Both are spot-only on the public card — $3.94/hr and $2.86/hr in North America ($4.04 and $2.98 in Europe) — with on-demand marked “Contact Sales.” That makes them the only CPU shapes whose on-demand rate is gated behind sales.

Two things were withdrawn. The 100G Virtual Direct Connect tier, previously $15,000/month, now reads “Not Available,” leaving 10G ($1,500/mo) as the only self-serve Virtual DX speed and pushing 100G/400G buyers onto Dedicated DX at $12,500 and $50,000/month. And the storage table’s asterisk — “Discounts are available for reserved storage capacity for AI Object Storage and Distributed File Storage” — is gone, so the only commitment discount CoreWeave now advertises publicly is the up-to-60% reserved compute discount. Europe CPU spot rates also drifted a few cents in both directions (e.g. AMD Genoa 9274F $3.50 → $3.41, Intel Emerald Rapids High Memory $3.27 → $3.31).

Packaging reshuffle: spot-only CPU shapes in, 100G Virtual DX and reserved-storage discounts out

No published GPU price moved between the June and July 2026 cards (HGX H100 $49.24/$19.71, H200 $50.44/$20.93, B200 $68.80/$34.11, GB200 NVL72 $42.00, A100 $21.60/$9.65 all held), but the shape of the card changed. Two General Purpose (Standard Memory) CPU shapes were added spot-only — AMD Turin 9655P at $3.94/hr and Intel Emerald Rapids 8562Y+ at $2.86/hr in North America — with on-demand marked Contact Sales. The $15,000/mo 100G Virtual Direct Connect tier became Not Available, leaving 10G at $1,500/mo, and the reserved-storage capacity discount footnote was removed, making up-to-60% reserved compute the only publicly advertised commitment discount.
