Coda rebrands to Superhuman Docs, raises Pro and Business list prices
Coda relaunched as 'Superhuman Docs' on July 8, 2026, renaming its Team tier to Business and raising new-customer list prices to $15/mo (Pro) and $40/mo (Business) per Doc Maker, up from roughly $10 and $30 — the first increase since at least December 2019.
Pro $10/Doc Maker/month, Team $30/Doc Maker/month (unchanged since at least Dec 2019)
Pro $15/Doc Maker/month ($12/mo annual), Business $40/Doc Maker/month ($33/mo annual)
The increase followed three straight years of consolidation — Grammarly acquired Coda in December 2024, then Superhuman (2025), then Rows (Feb 2026) — culminating in the July 2026 rebrand of Coda itself into “Superhuman Docs.” Existing customers were grandfathered onto their prior Maker Billing rates; only new signups pay the higher list price.
Coda officially became 'Superhuman Docs' on July 8, 2026, with a new visual identity (Super Sans typeface), a rebuilt in-document AI assistant, Docs MCP, AI Views (beta), Table Pages, and Superhuman Databases (beta, up to 1M rows). The Team tier was renamed Business. New-customer list prices rose to $15/Doc Maker/month for Pro ($12/month billed annually, up from ~$10) and $40/Doc Maker/month for Business ($33/month billed annually, up from ~$30) — a genuine list-price increase corroborated by three independent sources: a Wayback-archived JSON pricing payload from superhuman.com/plans/docs (captured 2026-08-26, showing a 'Superhuman Basic Pro plan' at $15/month and a Business plan at $40/month monthly or $396/year annual), costbench.com (verified 2026-09-02), and breeze.pm's side-by-side pricing table. Existing customers were grandfathered onto their prior Maker Billing rates per Coda's official announcement and a Jun 30–Jul 6, 2026 community thread giving customers until July 6 to lock in old pricing.
