Close ships Chloe AI sales agent, bundled free on every plan
Close brought its Chloe AI sales agent to general availability, included at no extra SKU on all four CRM tiers and metered instead through per-user AI credits plus telephony usage.
Close made Chloe — its AI sales agent (call assistant, AI-generated call summaries and drafting) — generally available and folded it into every plan rather than gating it behind a premium AI tier. Each seat carries a monthly AI-credit allowance (Solo 500 / Essentials 1,000 / Growth 1,500 / Scale 2,000, pooled per workspace), so the AI is “free” at the SKU level but metered underneath by credits and telephony (Call Assistant $50/mo + usage; premium phone numbers $19/mo per line). It is a clear example of the incumbent-SaaS pattern of bundling agentic AI into existing per-seat plans with a usage meter beneath, rather than selling a standalone consumption SKU like Salesforce Agentforce.
Close launched Chloe, an AI sales agent embedded in the CRM, to general availability for US/Canada customers. Rather than a premium AI SKU, Chloe is free on every plan; customers pay only for the AI credits she consumes plus telephony passthrough. Each tier ships a monthly per-user credit base (500/1,000/1,500/2,000) with a shared team pool from Essentials up. Beta spanned 306 businesses, 818,000+ calls and 6,400+ conversation hours.
