Cartesia brings back its 20%-off yearly billing toggle
Cartesia reinstated the Monthly/Yearly (Save 20%) toggle on its pricing page a month after removing it, defaulting again to yearly rates: Pro $4/mo, Startup $39/mo, Scale $239/mo (vs. $5/$49/$299 monthly).
No billing-period toggle. A single monthly rate per tier: Free $0/mo, Pro $5/mo, Startup $49/mo, Scale $299/mo, Enterprise custom (as of 2026-07-22).
Monthly / Yearly (Save 20%) toggle restored, defaulting to Yearly: Free $0/mo, Pro $4/mo, Startup $39/mo, Scale $239/mo; Monthly tab shows $5/$49/$299.
Cartesia’s pricing page (cartesia.ai/pricing) has the annual billing option back. On 2026-07-22 the “Self-serve plans & usage” Monthly / Yearly toggle had disappeared entirely, leaving a single monthly rate per tier. A recapture on 2026-08-26 shows the toggle restored in the same spot above the plan cards, defaulting to Yearly (badged “Save 20%”) — so a visitor who does not touch the control again sees Pro at $4/mo, Startup at $39/mo, and Scale at $239/mo, with a Monthly tab revealing $5/$49/$299. The removal lasted roughly a month.
Everything else on the page is unchanged: credit allowances hold at 20K / 100K / 1.25M / 8M per month, prepaid voice-agent balances at $1 / $5 / $49 / $299, Line voice agents at a flat $0.06 per minute of call duration on every plan, and telephony at $0.014 per minute on a Cartesia-provided number. The flagship text-to-speech model is now labeled Sonic-3.6 on the pricing and product pages (previously Sonic-3.5), though this appears to be a version bump rather than a pricing change.
The Monthly / Yearly (Save 20%) toggle removed from cartesia.ai/pricing on 2026-07-22 is back. The page now defaults to the Yearly view again — Pro $4/mo, Startup $39/mo, Scale $239/mo — with a Monthly tab showing $5/$49/$299. Credit allowances, prepaid agent balances, concurrency limits, and the $0.06/min voice-agent rate are unchanged. The flagship TTS model is now labeled Sonic-3.6 on the pricing page (was Sonic-3.5).
